A strategic generalist, weaver of ideas, and lover of mountains
Hi, I'm Christina — and that's my dog, Winnie.
I grew up in the U.S., lived in the Netherlands for a decade, and am currently in that in-between space as I search for my next home in Europe. (Hence, Liminal Stories — it fits in more ways than one.)
I've spent my career becoming really good at holding things together. Not in any one sector or under any one job title, but in the sense of being the person who sees the whole picture, keeps the plates spinning, and makes sure things actually happen. I'm a proud generalist — it is genuinely one of my favourite things about myself.
HOW I GOT HERE
My career started in the most niche way imaginable: as events manager for an ultimate frisbee apparel company in Seattle. (Yes, ultimate frisbee has its own apparel. Yes, I get asked that a lot.) I spent five years there, eventually moving to Europe on my own to run the entire European operation, which I did for two years. It was the kind of role where you learn everything about running a business by just... running one. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
After that I spent five years at THNK School of Leadership, designing and delivering learning programmes for leaders and organisations trying to do things differently. That's where I discovered my love for programme development and design. Since going freelance in 2024, my primary work has been with the Bio-Leadership Project — a brilliant organisation working at the intersection of nature, leadership, and systems change — alongside other clients doing genuinely exciting work in the world.
The common thread? I've always been the spider in the web. The one who sees how all the parts connect, keeps things moving, and makes ideas real.
WHAT MATTERS TO ME
I believe the stories we tell shape the world we live in — and that it's time for some new ones. I want to work with people who are writing them.
Nature is my greatest teacher and source of inspiration. I try to work the way healthy ecosystems do: with care, rhythm, and genuine attention to what sustains rather than depletes. I take this seriously both in the work I choose and in how I show up for it.
I'm guided by a handful of values I keep coming back to: curiosity, integrity, adaptability, and humour. I ask a lot of questions, I say what I think, I'm comfortable with uncertainty, and I will absolutely make you laugh at some point.
